I'm a newbie too!

Hi, I want to introduce myself: I'm a big Rockabilly (love the 50's, 50's cars and clothes and ofcourse the music!) and Stray Cats/Setzer - fan since 1983! when I saw the first time the Stray Cats in Nuernberg/Germany!

I even had to chance to make a phone call to Brian which would be nowadays impossible! I met them quite often but as I speak it was easier then then now!

Got loads pictures over the years with the Cats and Brian and I'm going to see them in Munich, Hamburg and Manchester! Anyone who is going there too let me know, we might meet up!

Hi Andi,

it happend by "accident", more or less! I tried some hotels after the 1983 gig and asked if I can speak to Brian Setzer and the first 2 hotels said he doesnt live here but the 3rd hotel said "one moment please" and my heart dropped onto the floor! affraid

I wasnt expecting this at all and didnt know what to say but he really answered! Exclamation

Well, I only told him that I was at their concert the night before and how good it was and asked when would they come down for a chat and write some autographs! That was it really, didnt know what else to say at that time! Still lucky!!

Though I'm sure Brian was completely cool and friendly about, it as always. Great photos too. So glad you're here!!

... I also think that's why famous people got now different names when they check into hotels! It just wouldnt happen anymore today!

Which gigs are you going to when the Stray Cats play their last tour??? Wink
