| Hello Tommy
What do you think about this idea : The fans will vote for the top 10 songs they like to hear on the farwell tour and the 10 most popular will be play by the cats. Is it possible ? I think it could be a good end

| I think it's a fine idea to list your preferences to give Brian and the Cats some feedback, but I have read more than once where Brian isn't fond of being a "jukebox" (of course, this was before the last Xmas tour - where Brian played through a jukebox and was basically inside a jukebox). So, a poll or thread on this subject is great, but attaching a binding setlist to the message board might not go over as well for a band that wants to leave on their own terms. Besides, I would guess that our consensus "Top 10" choices would probably be included anyway. For every one person who wants to hear "Looking Better Every Beer," there's probably 1000 who would vote for "Rumble In Brighton," which would have been played regardless.
If there's no sax, no piano, and no backup singers, some great tunes may not be eligible. But I'm all for guest appearances and special one-off performances, as long as someone records 'em for posterity! Dave Edmunds rules OK!

| Top 10, not complet set list! I think it will be easier to analyse the results with top 10. Hey Tommy, what do you think of this idea ? And Brian ? | |

| They are all really good suggestions. I'd love to hear the Cats do a load of b-sides and stuff I've never seen them do live. Gonna Ball....Crazy Mixed Up Kid.....One Hand Loose.....
With the Cats, it's all good. I'd really like to hear Cry Baby with Dave Edmunds sharing the vox with Brian.

| Tommy,
If this really is the last of the Stray Cats, your suggestion would be a fine one. Let's get Dave Edmunds up there and do "Cry Baby", "The Race Is On" & "King Of Love". His influence on their career has to be worthy of a bit part in their final moments? can you swing it for us?

| I'd luuuuuuurve to see a Cats gig where half way through they announce "and now a special guest..........................." and then either....
Dave Edmunds Lemmy Robert Plant Jerry Lee Lewis (+ wheelchair?) Kim Wilde (sorry: I fancied her like mad in the 80's and I once read she loved the Stray Cats)
or ME walks on stage,

| Tommy.........do you think there is any chance of some guest appearnaces from some of their friends over the years.......like Dave Edmunds, Robert Plant.......that really would be the business.
and as for singing Happy Birthday......that made me laugh.

| AMEN Banksy - how cool would that be; oh wait, no it would be cool if I was the special guest. As I am sure we would all like to be. However, I would probably embarrass myself and stand there and cry like a silly school girl. | |
