| Only about the "official" sleeves (no bootleg of course)and no matter of what you think about the record. Only your fav' sleeve. I'm hesitating... Well, for me, it's GONNA BALL. | |

| No hesitating...it's "GONNA BALL" followed by the Japanese cover of "BUILT FOR SPEED". | |

| Hey onefin, I'm gonna guess that they must have been the singles off the album that they were promoting. | |

You could be right Pete, but i think the only one from there i recall even getting into the uk charts was "you don`t believe me". and having just checked the Guiness book of British hit singles, yep. only that song made the top 75 in the UK. My favourite cover.........also Gonna Ball.

| I think that it hasn't necessary to be the single releases of an album. Just have a look on the cover of "Live Nude Guitars". The sticker on it says next to others including "She Thinks I'm Trash" which has never been a single. I guess it's more a kind of promotion to pretend that there are these "hits" on it.
It's all about makin’ money by rising the sales if you know what I mean.

| Well, although I really like the "cartoon" style of the 2004 Rumble In Brixton Live album cover, I think the best one is a toss-up between the Built for Speed U.S. cover with the 50's cars in front of the garage, and the Gonna Ball album. Considering all elements of the covers, however, I think that the Gonna Ball album is my favorite, too. On the subject of the album stickers, I think Tommy mentioned something about they were a typo for "Stray Cats 2" meaning the second Cats' album, one of a number of mistakes made by the record company including the address of the Airline Diner being in Jackson, NJ as opposed to Jackson, NY. I think he posted a link to that old archived discussion in one of the other posts' here. I'll see if I can find it and post the link. ... I stand corrected. It was Budgie, not Tommy, who originally posted the link to the old archive about the Diner, and who I see now also took the present-day pictures. The link was in another topic about the Stray Cats' pinup girl. Stray Cats Pinup Girl Origin TopicGonna Ball Diner: Mystery Solved No mention of the "Stray 2", but I still believe it was a typo for "Stray Cats 2". | |

| "Stray 2" is purely the original catalogue number of the vinyl long player of "Gonna Ball". The self titled "Stray Cats" album had a catalogue number of Stray 1. This is no mis print! Rather than give lengthy numbers, Arista chose to catalogue the releases in this way. | |

You Don't Believe Me & Little Miss Prissy were the only UK releases as singles from that list shown on the sticker . My fave album cover is Stray Cats. To this day, i don't know where that photo was shot. I think it was in England, and maybe an NCP car park, but it remains a mystery to me to this day! There's a slightly different pic from the same session in a music mag, where they were likened to the Rice Krispie guys, Snap Crackle & Pop!!! Anyone remember? Mikey xx

I think both of us have been out of that Division too long. Best of luck for next term - I'm not too sure avout the Earnshaw transfer, but you have a real gem in Anderson. Regards, J

| Hey Swansea City and Crazy Mixed up Kid, as a Leeds fan I want to pass on my congrats on you getting up to the chamoionship. We didn't play at all well in the Play Off Final and didn't deserve to go up, so I'm hoping this year we will get automatic promotion, it's the only way for us. My favourite sleeve covers are Rant n Rave, and the back cover of Stray Cats, I also love totally the sleeve covers for You Don't believe Me and Little Miss Prissy. By the way Leeds fans never ever stop singing. MOT Liam | |

| Really tricky question, but hmm.. I Think built for speed is one of the favourites, and of course rant n' rave. One other sleevefav is the Lp "Cruisin'", I think there's some live shots on the sleeve from a show in Helsinki maybe, or Germany?!
