| If I may butt in; I think he said in an interview, that they'd removed the zero-fret on his original '59. Like this: I kinda don't mind the zero-fret, so maybe I'm missing out on something (It's easier to intonate guitars without them, though...) Anders | |

| I don't know. I had them on my very first guitars. It was made of some soft type of metal, leaving sharp cuts where the string run over. So when you pull up the strings....ploingk! Because of that I stay away from it. I'm guess on good guitars this is different?
