Welcome to the board, Janne!
Very cool that you're seeing Stray Cats this summer. Brian has stated numerous times over the years that it is too costly these days to tour Europe with such a large band. And there's no way he'd drag the orchestra over there just to play in one European country. The Christmas Extravaganza has really built up quite a bit of momentum in the US, playing to more sold-out venues each year. But the US dollar is so weak abroad, and travel is so expensive, that touring with that large of a group would be a massive undertaking. Maybe if the BSO were selling 10 million albums a year, they'd consider it.
On the other hand, foreign currency has never been stronger over here for foreigners. Perhaps it's time for you to book a flight to the US and see them this winter. As Brian once said, "You have to go to the mountain. The mountain will not come to you."
Unless you're extremely wealthy. Then, perhaps they'd entertain the idea of a private one-off gig in Finland. For an extreme amount of money, to cover cost of rehearsals, all the musicians, crew, travel, lodging, bar tab, food, lutefisk (oops, sorry, that's Norwegian), arena, a chartered flight, special transport for the jukebox amp, and other miscellaneous expenses - ticket for Rickabilly. And if that's the case...
