Hey CC!

I have absolutely no idea but most places would look down upon taking cameras into their venues - so to get around it I usually take my mobile phone with the built in camera in.. I know that's pretty pointless if you A) Don't have a camera phone; or B) Don't have a high quality camera phone.. but that's how I get around it Very Happy

Hey Cat,
you take your camera mate.I worried about mine in 2004,slipped it in my pocket hoping no one would notice, then you get inside, the Cats hit the stage and.....flash,flash,flash...fu*kin cameras everywhere!
Cameras are so slim now, they easily fit in your jeans pocket and you don't get searched. It was a bit different in t'old days when the camera was as big as a telly!
That's my advice mate so don't miss out.

I will take your advice on that .
Ive got a poster somewere in the attic similar to your avatar,it was out of a music shop window from when the cats played in Stoke on Trent back in the 90's and also had support from The Long Tall Texans.I will have to find it out,I remember putting it in a frame but dont know what happened to it.
Thanks Again
Carbon Cat

Your welcome pal,
I will indeed be attending the Manchester gig (& Dublin). cheers

I had the poster in up in the attic room before I moved house.Sadly back in storage now.Funnily enough, and this must be an age thing,I had completely forgotten attending that gig.I'd convinced myself I'd bought the poster at one of the London shows until I spoke to a mate the other day who assured me he'd driven me up there!
Must go through my ticket collection to check exactly how many gigs I have seen.

Everytime I have been to the academy i have took a camera.
The camera i use for concerts is not one that can be hidden in my pocket as it has a massive zoom lens but the guys on the door never say anything about using it.
I have even filmed concerts there many times with my camcorder without a problem.
HOWEVER.....when I attended a gig there last year by THE LIVING END the security told me to stop taking pics so it depends on the night who is doing security.
Some will allow you to take pics and some wont as i suppose is the same at any venue.
It is up to the individual if you want to take the chance of bringing it but be warned it may be taken from you so i guess camera phones are the best bet.

At a past Setzer show me and wee Mark both had cameras and i got past security with mine and Mark did not so be careful.
