Westbury Show?

Does anyone know if a Westbury show is being worked on or is it a no go this year? No LI show would be odd.

Possibilities still exist for Nov. 23 and 27. But the 27th is Thanksgiving. So that is unlikely. Dec 2 is also a possibility, but creates a tough itinerary, so I wouldn't count on it.

How big is that Hammerstein Ballroom? Perhaps they figured one show in a larger venue in NYC was better than two smaller shows in NYC and LI.

No LI show IS weird, but they couldn't use the giant stage set/backdrop last year because of the "in the round" dynamic. Hammerstein will definitely work better if that's the reason why they're skipping Westbury.

It always felt like a homecoming show so its a shame if it is already dead for this year. I always thought the intimacy of the small building out weighed the lost of staging elements (even with an over the top band like Kiss). Westbury was part of the BOA purchase and dealing with them on the business end of late has been a pain so it just may not be worth it from both a business and aggravation standpoint not to mention scheduling. Damn shame. Travaling over a thousand miles for the show anyway so getting my little 7 yr. old obsessed drummer boy to one of the other venues front and center should not be too big a deal.
