WHO IS UP FOR DRINKING IN THE PARKING LOT BEFORE THE COSTA MESA SHOW

Hey i came up with a bright idea i say we get plastered before the show in the parking lot.

Can you get plastered on Mountain Dew? I don't drink alcohol at all, never have. I would prefer to enjoy the night and maybe remember it the next morning......

I have to agree with Ross here. I've never been able to get to any Stray Cats, BSO, Lee Rocker, or Slim Jim comcerts/gigs of anykind. it was always being in the wrong place at the wrong time, and that is a lot to miss since they've had sooo many between them. Since this is my first and probably last concert with the three of them. I want to remember it. Although, who knows, I'll probably scream and faint when they walk on stage, so maybe a little drink might be a good idea. Not only that, the security is pretty tight in the PL's now, and wouldn't want to miss the concert because Im in jail.

since its at the fair, there is a beer and wine garden, cinimon rolls, garlic bread, hot dogs on a stick and everything else including all the CHEESE that was brought up before......
not to mention......carnies!

I'll be coming to the Fair straight from work in Lake Forest. I'll be there about 5:00 pm and will be waiting patiently to get in. See ya all there.

Good old Garbage Grove for me. I work at an elementary school, so I'll be off for the summer. I'll probably get their early, eat at the fair, look at some baby pigs, etc. Of course, maybe we'll all be having a meet and greet with each other, before the show. Maybe even with the Cats (I can dream, can't I)

I meet Brian Setzer and Slim Jim Phantom once time in maybe 1992. They are just kind to make sign and many photos with our gang. I should find photographs and try show them to you all here. Slim hand to me a paper that he used under his glass for to keep. NICE!! Never see Lee Rocker there. He was in sleep I think..

Dude, it's California. And on top of that, it's Orange County...... They'll lock you up and beat you like Rodney King for that nowadays.

I am inclined to say OH! I read one time more the entire list of postings and you must me correct! I am sorry for mistake. I see no trouble with drinking. My gang will surely drink the maximum amount of litres before the Stray Cats performances in 2008!! OH make sure we will be very happy by first song. We are know to shower with kegs in shower bath! We have saying that we use to live by. It is this: NEVER TRUST MAN WHO DOES NOT DRINK!! I agree to this? Do you Pinkpiratekitten?

I am comin from Santa Cruz CA.... What would be an appropriate beer to toast to? Maybe a Pub ale? or an American Classic? Pabst Blue?

I would go with a pub ale, newcastle, GUINESS is always good, Heineken, or even Rolling Rock

Never trust a man or woman that drinks and then drives. I do drink, just not alcohol. I've seen it screw up too many people in my lifetme! No thank you.

I do not undertstand no drink drive sentiment. Here, I take several litres of beer before go to work. This is the way of life, where problem? At the work break we drink all.....even boss. We have just as much as we need to go, you know? As I say, from begins the beers or strong drink is our way. Everyone must know this only with weak people you hear reverse. Ok?

Ross, I respect your view on drinking, and wish some of my friends had the same. I think seeing them drunk all the time makes you think "geez - do I look that stupid?"

I have maybe one or two drinks a month during the summer. Probably only one on Christmas & one on New Years - too old for the hangovers.

Berndt - dude, your scary. I know that over there the culture is different, but it's kinda scary. Helpful hint: If your ever in the US take a cab, cuz you'll end up in jail pretty quick if you're caught driving with any booze in your system. Other than that - welcome to the forum. The more the merrier
