Bob Wills Tiffany Transcriptions Empty
PostSubject: Bob Wills Tiffany Transcriptions   Bob Wills Tiffany Transcriptions EmptyThu May 22, 2008 11:24 pm

Hey guys,

Just something I thought I'd throw out there-Does anyone have the out of print Rhino records Bob Wills Transcriptions on cd? I am a huge Texas Playboys fan and was curious? These recordings are only available at crazy ebay prices so I wondered if anyone might be interested in trade for some imported and live stuff. I have numerous Junior Brown bootlegs (cds and dvd), Junior Brown with Stone Temple Pilots on Letterman, Setzer's Rockin' By Myself (russian) cd (also going at insane prices), The Church Live at the Raleigh New Bar '90 (direct board recording) never released, plus loads of other stuff.

Just curious,

Robbie

Hey,

Even though I didn't get any responses I wanted to give you guys some info on some extremely CHEAP brand new cd copies of Bob Wills: Tiffany Transcriptions vol. 2 and 3 for $11.50!!! Used copies on amazon.com are fetching $70 just for vol 3. There are only a few left on the shelf from this rhino out-of-print series so grab it while you can! Junior Barnard, Eldon Shamblin and Tiny Moore were early pioneers of rockabilly and these are some of their very best work. Check out the article on Junior Barnard in Guitar Player with Setzer on the front cover from Sept. '83.

Malcolm is a really cool guy and any lover of old-time music should take a look at his inventory. Huge selection of early Americana.

Enjoy and have a great weekend,
Robbie
