Well I saw him last night at the in Santa Cruz at the Catalyst California fun palce to see a show The main dance hall is 5000 square feet, not including balconies, and can hold 800 people it was sold out. Nashville Pussy and The Supersuckers went on first Another band played in the "small room" before and after The Rev there name was Three Bad Jacks they were Good Also The Reverend came on about 10:30 and played hard until until 1am! The Reverend Horton Heat was Totaly Friggin Amazing They did a walk through time medly of covers which included
Greensleeves - traditional English folk song The Rev Said "I'll bet there has never been a mosh pit to greensleeves" Bill Hailey - rock this joint Roger Miller - King of the road Johhny Cash - Folsom Prison Blues Black Sabbath - Paranoid Stray Cats - Rock this Town Nirvana - Come as you are
I bought a cool looking t-shirt at the show one that is not for sale on there website I should try to take a picture of it, it has a very cool design they also sell old Authentic Gas station shirts at the show with a horton Logo added to the back | |

| Sorry I missed commenting before you went to the show. But I'll comment now! Wow... Nashville Pussy, Supersuckers, Three Bad Jacks and The Rev? Helluva night/party, that is!! I'm seeing The Rev at The Stone Pony, Asbury Park, NJ in November. Looks like that leg he's touring with Nashville Pussy and Reckless Kelly. I don't think I know them (RK). Love The Catalyst club. Saw 68 CBS Special there back when I lived out in CA. Chop Tops opened. | |

And paraniod is awesome cause the drummer sings it and he has a really good voice. The Rev is coming back in OCt of this year and my band Flathead Fred might actualy be able to open up for him and Nashville Pussy which will be the best moment of my life haha.
