| Without doubt, the world champ and mother of all pomps, is the one Elvis wore on the Sinatra show in 1960. | |

| have to agree with Guitar Man. The pomp he had on the Sinatra special was epic. WHen he was singing Stuck on You, it had a life of it's own. Here are a couple of honorable mentions: Jimmie Vaughan and Desi Arnaz. Having trouble putting up the pics... | |

Ah, Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) in his younger days. I don't have a picture, but off the top of my head (lol) how about Chuck Berry in his early days?

| I wish these photos were bigger, especially this first one. You can find a larger photo (which I wasn't able to "steal") at the link below but be sure to scroll down: http://www.elvispresleymusic.com.au/elvis_presley_1960_1966.html The king and chairman duetting on Witchcraft and a swinging version of Love Me Tender. LOVE it! I'm loving this thread! Elvis, Brian, Johnny Depp. Very good choices!! | |

| Hey Pete,
I'll ditto that! What I like best about it is that it's what I'd call a "natural" pomp. By which, I mean it's not some cartoonish thing held up with hairspray and lightwieght titanium girders underneath. For a young guy, Webelvis has a pretty cool fashion sense for his hair! I'm envious - I used to have pretty good raw material, but no more!
Rock on, Bear85 | |

| In one post, I am going to reveal my nerdiness AND my daditude...
Setzer:guitar::Bello:clowning
If you have any 5- to 11-year olds in your house and Bello comes to town, make every effort to take them to the circus. As amazing as the hair is, it pales in comparison to the rest of his show.
