| Hey Gang, We all love Brian, Lee and Jim and there respective bands, but I also love some different bands that aren't rockabilly or swing based. My favourite band after Stray Cats has to be The Cult. I love the guitar work, song structures and great voice. AC/DC, Bad Company, Purple (especially Hush), Zep and Foo Fighters have to be there as well. I also notice these influences come out in my playing. Infact, Lil Devil is our opening number! Hows about the rest of ya? Cheers Pete. | |

| I've mentioned them a few times, but my favourite band after Stray Cats and Brian Setzer are The Voodoo Kreepers. It's hard to explain their sound - a bit rockabilly, a bit country, and a whole lotta tongue in cheek (they do the odd love/anti-love ballad as well) THE PLUG: At the moment you can buy their CD 'A fistfull of Voodoo' for NZ$15.. postage already included to anywhere in the world.. I literally play this CD daily. To get it just hit them up on their myspace page: www.myspace.com/thevoodookreepers Kid. | |

| My EBFEB 5 are: ELVIS, Brian Setzer, Fleetwood Mac (including solo Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham), Elton John and Billy Joel. Brian's the baby of the bunch!
Warren Zevon's a favorite. I miss him. And I love John Fogerty. There are a lot of others whose music I really love (mostly from the 70's and 80's), that I may not follow as closely as I used to, but the ones listed here are my very favorites. | |

| Helllllllloooo there.
Here are my favs in no particular order besides the first entry:
Extreme (reformed, new album in stores mid August). If you love guitar, you have to listen to Nuno Bettencourt, totally amazing. The great Thin Lizzy. Guitar heaven and of course Phil Lynott (RIP) Mouring Widows, Poulation1 & Drama Gods (Nuno Bettencourt side projects) KISS, way before the sell out. The Living End. Union, featuring John Corabi (ex Motley Crue (from their best album ever) and Bruce Kulick (ex Kiss and a brilliant person). Collective Soul. Lifehouse. ZZ Top (of course). The Wallflowers. Alter Bridge (ex 3 quarters of Creed). Veruca Salt. Foo Fighters. Dave Grohl is a legend and a genius!! Queensryche. Paris Combo. French Jazz band, very cool and groovy music (did I just use groovy???). Presidents of the United States of America. Great clean fun stuff. Cake. Many different interesting styles from Country to Rock to Jazz to Funk.
Heaps more, but that'll do for now.
