Hey guys, just heard the Dublin gig being advertised on Ireland's major radio national station RTE 2FM, making a real big deal of it, they played excerpts from Rock this Town, Stray Cat Strut and Runaway Boys, Jesus, its great to hear the Cats on the radio again! Has anyone heard thegigs promoted anywhere else?

Hey Dexter I haven't heard a freekin thing up her in Belfast, but that guy Gerry Lang on Downtown Radio plays lots of music from 60s right thru and lately has played Stray Cats as a feature band one Sunday, but only played a 3-4 songs all the early hits. I'm gonna tune in now to RTE on the old computer here at work see what I can get. I haven't seen a poster anywhere in Ireland yet either. Stay in touch for when you're going down to Dublin and we'll meet up for a pint.

Big time Liam, that'd be great, Im planning to get up to Belfast for one of the last fridays, met Marti and Roberta during the Derry jazz fest, might get a pint then but its hard to get the time with the kids. Aye same as youself, Ive seen or heard nothing of the Cats until last night, nearly crashed the car!! Id say it'll be a regular slot now for a while.

Not heard any promo yet, but there was a question on Ken Bruces Popmaster the other day on Radio 2. Which of the Stray Cats' 80's releases made the top 10. the contestant answerd (incorrectly) Stray Cat Strut. Ken Bruce retorted, 'bad luck, you could have had, either Rock This Town or Runaway Boys'... At 42 years old, it still gives me goose bumps to hear them mentioned on the radio. Someone also had Rock this Town on Steve Wrignts oldies.

I know i'm sad... i have seeked professional help, but nobody will take mycase.

Love Brian Setzer (or a dilluded Mikey Strafford) xx

Hey Dexter I'm hoping to get down to the club this Friday nite, the wife and kids are going to stay with relatives in Monaghan, so hope to have a good rockin nite. The club will be closed in August for one month so the club won't be on then, apparently there's some renovations taking place.

Still haven't heard the promo on RTE and I listed all yesterday.
