| It can be a side effect of the "Farewell" aspect of this world tour (Europe+Australia), but the fact is there're everyday more and more sold-out gigs. It's for me and certainly most of people here obvious that our rockinest cats in the galaxy have to go on rockin' this world. They can't write the last sentence of their career right now; we need a real rock n' roll band and Brian, Lee and Jim can't stand there watching these sold-out shows without reconsidering their decision to stop it!
Tommy, please, help us to keep this hope alive; remember, you're the fourth...

| It's gonna be a furious madness!!! 10 of the 22 european gigs are sold-out, and 3 of the 7 australian one too! Without any record since last century and a low promotion... I know I'm right ... FrenchyCat | |

| Guys we always followed the Cats since they hit the charts Ireland, UK and Europe and I truly believe the following, support etc has been grossly underestimated. People have been saying to me "Oh yeah this is only the first of the Farewell Tours by Stray Cats" just like all the other 80s bands that are making comebacks. Well I hope it is one of many tours, coz like everyone else, I don't want Stray Cats to stop, that may be selfish of me I know all the Cats have their own different projects that they want to pursue, so I'll put this into perspective in respect of 80s bands comebacks. OK we had The Police crowd out Stormont, they are a massive band and Stormont is always the summer venue, I know I worked all the concerts there setting up the stage, doing security etc and a lot of people come out for an evening out, they aren't necessarily all followers of the bands playing. Simple Minds have been described as a big band from the 80s and they are to play one gig in Belfast 6 Dec 08, backed up by Deacon Blue. I was listening to a local radio station and guess what, they announced that NOT ONE TICKET has been sold.
I take no delight in that but I take great delight in what 3 guys from Long Island are doing, showing their passion for the music they play, going round the world to do it and being backed up by people and fans who feel the same passion for the same music. Long may it last ROCKABILLY RULES.
STRAY CATS KEEP BRINGING IT BACK AGAIN, AND AGAIN, AND AGAIN PLEASE.

| I said it before and I'll say it again. Those guys can and should do whatever they want. No more Cats? Fine no more Cats. I'll follow any other thing they do. As long as I hear that Setzer Flavoured Guitar I'm 100% on board with anything they decide. | |

| It's a nice wish but I think this time is for real... Brian seems tired (and we can understand it) about plane long trips and unstoppable tours. I really believe it's the Farewell tour for Europe, Australia and, probably soon, Japan. For the US, it'll be probably different... But maybe we can wait for an album, a"real" one (not a live or a full of covers one)... | |

| As much as I'd like to see the Cats go on for many years, I feel that between all of them, they feel it's time to call it a day. They're probably in a financial position now to concentrate on solo projects, and so they should. Travelling has always been the number 1 hate in most touring bands lives. They'll always be know as THE rockabilly band that all others will be compared to, again rightly so. Anyone who has witnessed these guys energy, passion and musicianship has to agree that they are THE best rockabilly band, and I'll go as far to say ever. We gotta respect what they've done, what they're doing for their fans now (touring) and what they'll each do in the future. Personally, I'd rather see them go out in a blaze of glory, having a great time, rather than going through the motions to fulfill contracts, etc. So I tips my glass to the Cats (all 3 of them) and say "Thanks and Cheers Guys!" Cheers Pete. | |

As John Lennon said about the Beatles. It's no the end of the world, just a rock'n'roll band I'll be watching out for the next young band with a standupbass and Gretsch guitar, playing it in a fresh modern way with great talent. Maybe it won't be in this life | |

| No one in their right mind would actively WANT the Cats to pack up but we as humble fans do have to respect their decision.... And if,in a few years we do indeed get the New Hip ...Sorry,Too Hip Gotta Go tour then so be it. Anyone gonna cry and say "Hey you bas*ards,I paid good money to see your farewell tour!".......Didn't think so! Bring It Back Again & Again & Again Steve | |
