anyone know where the Stray Cats cat came from

I had always imagined that the Cat in Brians Tattoo was something maybe himself and some very Talented Tattoo artist came up with, and i never thought too much about it, then just a couple of years ago i found a T-shirt with the cat on it in a discount store here in Dublin, it has two fish bones under the cat and the word Supreme written underneath, in the same style letters as in the stray cats logo.

This leaves me thinking that Brian borrowed the design from some other product, anyone know anymore about the design or my T-shirt?

Bet this leaves me looking really stupid for asking stupid questions.

I had that T Shirt in Brown AND Blue.Got them off Ebay.Wore one to Manchester gig 2004,overheard one guy comment "That's the coolest T shirt here",which obviously brought a smile.
I remember they were fetching good money at the time,but were great quality.
As I understood it Supreme is a major US store that commissioned the T Shirts.Not confident enough to say if Brian designed it with the tattoo artist but I THINK that was the case.He certainly didn't get it from the T shirt!
