I installed Planet Waves Trim-lok tuners. These are the cat's meow, brother. Insert the string end, tighten the clamp knob, tune to pitch and the string gets clipped off in the process. Greatest invention since sliced bread! They were designed, I think, by Ned Steinberg, a genius on many levels.
Caution: You need to modify the headstock for them to fit as the stock tuner bore diameters are slightly less than the PW's. I also replaced the bridge with roller style one as the stock bridge would not stay in tune with use of the Bigsby. I did not pin the base as I was unsure how to do it properly, so if anyone has some tips there, I'd be open to hearing, or reading, them!
