| guys, a warning, the victoria line stops running at 10pm at the moment, so it won`t be possible to use the tube from Brixton after the gig.
Alternatives are buses, or a walk up to Stockwell tube to catch a tube there.
I think i may drive, park in Pope`s road multi storey car park....

| Hey Dave, how close to the Academy is the Railway? It was also called Brady's. Click HERE.
It was where a bit of the Clash film, "Rude Boy" was shot there with Ray Gange (who's comin' to Brixton with me).
Ya know where that joint is?
Cheers, Tommy | |

Cheers, Tommy As far as I know it was pretty close to Brixton tube station but it's been derelict for a few years now. (http://route.rac.co.uk/routeplanner.cgi?jsOption=true&advanced=false&qs_1=sw9+8hx&countryCode_1=UK&qs_2=sw99sl&countryCode_2=UK&rtype=true&x=25&y=13)

| I don`t know that area at all Tommy, except what i saw of it in 2004, and what i see on Google Maps when planning my Journey for the 10th !!
I`m sure there are some pubs nearby that i will drop into en route, so maybe catch you at one of them sometime in the afternoon ?

| Hey Banksy, No way man, Ray is a cool cat. Stockwell not a good idea then? All I know is that I am NOT black cabbing it back to Russell Square. Last time I did that (2004) it cost me over 60 quid!

PS: walking up Stockwell road: scary! Who would be stupid enough to mess with 1,000 drunken rockers?? Brixton is no worse than any other part of London after dark really - although thinking about it, that's not that reassuring these days!.

| a guy i know said he often pre-books a mini cab to collect him from that area of london, costs £50 to get back to wheere i live, but shared between 3 or 4 people that`s only £15 or so each.
I`m looking into that option as well.
