| No flamed maple on the headstock or body of the guitar for one difference. 59 tresle bracing, pinned bridge, tv jone classic pickups, aged yellowed binding, vintage orange laquer finish. Basically it is totally different from an SSU. It basically looks like a vintage 59 gretsch, it's totally awesome.

Beautiful axe man. When I bought my Hot Rod in '99, I had a choice of a "97 SSLVO for 200 pounds more ,but the thing was a shop demo that had been around and banged to buggery. Made a decision and bought the Hot Rod, but I always yearn for SSLVO. Maybe one day, enjoy yours for me!!
