Rockabilly Chuck Problem

I have a Ibanez Hollowbody with a Line 6 Spider II Drive amplifier. I have trouble getting a good rockabilly chuck on it. Everything else sounds great. But when it comes to a fat duane eddy bass string chunk I can't get it chunky enough. I have my settings as such, if anyone else used a similar amp I hope you can help me.

CRUNCH: GREEN DRIVE: 5 BASS: 6 MIDDLE: 4 TREBLE: 8 CHAN VOL: 10

I use the delay instead of tape echo because the delay sounds more rockabilly. If anyone has this amp and plays rockabilly I'd like a little help. I use light gauge and extra light strings as well.

I dont have the Line 6 amp but DO have a Ibanez holllowbody. I use a Digitech gnx3 and Peavey Classic 50 amp. Different set up I know. When I want that Boomchucka sound I usually turn the mids almost all the way down and a little palm mute. I dont know if that will help at all, but I thought since probably have similar guitars and the pickups are a big part of the sound I figure it may help. If it doesnt well...... shoot me

I'd be using the clean setting rather than the crunch to get a Duane Eddy tone.

Have you tried asking on the Line6 website forum?

The above sounds like a plan... I have the Flextone III XL and have NO Poblem getting a really good Sound! So Try . I mean take time and try playing with Gain and cabs... Then MAYBE try a tube pre. I believe you do not need it, but maybe with the Spider you might. The Flexxy is just so much more full for everything and more customizable... Email me if you need some more help..
