| Hey guys, Just wondering what the avatars and names that you use mean ta ya? Mine I just like and reminds me that I ain't too bright! haha! The name is just what I do when I'm sitting at home next to my wife and kids, me pickin' on the guitar, sending them crazy while they're trying to watch tv! Cheers Pete. P.S. Tommy complained so much about having to see it on Myspace as well, that my wife changed it this...without telling me! | |

| My avatar is my daughter who has embraced the rockabilly look, etc., with much gusto! I like pirate stuff, cats, and the color pink (although it is not my fav color). I saw a Pink Pirate Kitty belt buckle and thought it was really cute. So i've used it for anything requiring a screen name. I used to use kitkattat, but was getting tired of it so... | My avatar is from an episode of the Simpsons where Homer goes to a Rock and Roll fantasy camp run by Keith Richards and Mick Jagger, and Brian Setzer is the guitar teacher.I saw the episode before I ever heard of him then saw it again on T.V. and I jumped out of my seat when he was there and Homer calls him Brian SELTZER. (I still can't find a guitar pick with his simpsons cartoon on it. I have one with Tom Petty on it though.) From left to right: Elvis Costello, Tom Petty, Kieth Richards, Homer Simpson, Mick Jagger, Lenny Kravitz, and last but definately not least, Brian Setzer. My name comes from my favorite T.V. show Seinfeld. One of the characters, George Costanza, uses the alias "Art Vandelay" a lot during the show and the name is mentioned in just about every season. I always liked the name and how fake it sounded.

| My avatar is a horse named Marley that has a fondness for eating my hair. My name came from because when I was younger and into Brian I always hung around with people much older than I because at the time I didn't know anyone else my age that liked him, so I was always 'Kid' or 'The Kid' because I was the youngest. I don't know why I put Setzer on the end, I just thought it rolled off the tongue well and when people read my name they knew what sort of music I'm into almost instantly. When I turned 18 last year I was wondering how long I can call myself 'Kid Setzer' before I outgrew the 'Kid' part. Now 19, I still think this but I'm not so worried - I think I'll always be a kid at heart Plus 'Young Adult Setzer' just doesn't have the same ring to it Kid. | |

| Well, when I signed up, I saw all the "Setzer"-esque names that had already been used, and I wanted something a little different, so while I was thinking about what to come up with, I saw the skull & crossbones background that Tommy put up for the forum. So, being a big Pirates of the Caribbean fan anyway, I figured I'd choose my favorite character from the series, Davy Jones, Captain of the Flying Dutchman, since he is also a bit of a musician (pipe organ). By having that name, it frees me up to sometimes reply in character; much the same as Rickabilly's endings to all of his posts done (hopefully) to the amusement of some of you. The picture is a standard shot from Dead Man's Chest promotional materials (posters, etc.) and is actually on the inside cover (past the table of contents) of the accompanying piano sheet music score for the film. | |

| Hot Rod Girl....one of my favorite Setzer tunes. And, there's nothing like the smell of burnin' rubber & racin' fuel mixed with the sound of squealin' tires and a well-tuned engine that gives this little ol' kitten a heart-poundin' adrenaline rush! I love drag racing (especially when it's the homegrowns racing their vintage American muscle), and dirt track racing. Fortunately for me, there's several great racetracks within 40 minutes of my home...I can see racing every night of the week if I desire! The avatar, well that's me, Spazz, and my hubby after the BSO concert up at Oneida back in 2006. A fellow BSO fan snapped the shot and emailed us the pic. Yet another great example of the fine people that call themselves Wisconsinites (thank you!). That's the last time that I show up without a camera! Take care all, hrg | |

| Hey, the name "burner1" refers to the band that I've had since (gulp) 1984 or 1985 -"THE" Burners. I'm not sure if I was expecting burner2, 3 or 4 to join the forum... As for the avatar, it's a long story from another thread; but I had the good fortune of meeting Carl Perkins back in 1996 while working in Nashville. A legendary talent and a true gentleman. I have a nice photo taken when I met Phil Everly; but I framed it before I had the sense to make a copy. It's only visible in the living room on the "wall of fame." Mr. Perkins seemed a bit more appropriate for the forum. | |

Kid. So you've officially dropped "The" part of "Kid Setzer?" My avatar is a photo of myself I uploaded to a website called "SimpsonizeMe." So I guess if I was a Simpson character this is what I'd look like. Peroxide? No. More like L'oreal. Blonde? Just an excuse for the ignorance. Brunette...Burnette....whatever!!! Didn't the Brunettes have a hit song too?? Also love the song! | |
